Today’s post is a joyous one for me, as I look forward to baking and celebrating Afternoon Tea Week, as well as sharing some photos of my cottage garden and home.

I’m sharing a delightful selection of Country Cottage Tea Tray Recipes for Afternoon Tea Week, and all your afternoon tea and Sunday tea tray moments.

Regular readers and all of you who follow me on Instagram, will know I post a Sunday Tea Tray every week, with new, much-loved and old recipes.

From fireside and cosy teas in winter, to floral, summer teas in our cottage garden, it’s a tradition that my mother and grandmothers used to do every Sunday, and I’m keeping it alive.

Today’s post is all about those recipes, and the special moments I have captured over the last 12 months, in our Lincolnshire Wolds Country Cottage.

I have recently bought an old wooden tea trolley too, which adds to my existing vintage and antique tea trays.

There is something lovely about baking and preparing recipes for Sunday Tea. Cakes, scones, sandwiches, tarts, pies and salads regularly grace my tea trays and tea trolley.
